hello , Today I'm going to show you awesome green papaya Thai salad which is called Som Tom and whenever you go to this Thai restaurant and ask for this salad they add shrimp and fish sauce in it one of my friend asked for the vegetarian salad they didn't have one so dear friends today I'm going to show you this awesome raw papaya salad made vegetarian way, take raw papaya which is nice and green and then I peeled it off actually I sliced it but if you are not very comfortable slicing thin with your knife you can use some slicer like this and slice them the trick to this salad is the ability to cut the papaya into thin slices that looks like noodles so arrange this thin slices and then just run the knife in such a way that once you cut them they all should look like noodles and one thing i have to tell you is raw is used as a meat tenderizer so this has a tendency to kind of giving burning sensation on your tongue to cut that we're going to add lemon juice and soy sauce and then we're going to let it sit for a few minutes that we make this salad really really awesome. To make this salad we're going to take some ginger very little ginger do not add too much and add garlic, garlic you can add little extra in this i'm going to add some shallots that's going to make this salad even more flavorful so first crush all of this do not make into a fine paste or anything just crush them look at it this is nicely crushed, transfer this garlic, onion, ginger crushed into a bowl, in that add carrots and beans, thin slices of tomato also and then this papaya which looks like the noodles, add very little salt okay because we're going to add soya sauce it is a better idea to add salt after you finish the salad, in this add some soy sauce some chili paste i do not have red chillies if i had actually i would have sliced them added but i always have a chili paste with me so i added some chili paste in this add some chopped coriander, honey, lemon juice now just take your ding chik ding chik and give it a little crush; this little crush will help them infuse with the juices here that's good and on top of this add some crushed roasted peanuts that should be good let this salad sit for 2 - 3 minutes and infuse with all the flavors and this is ready to serve. Look at this salad wow wow wow you know this is look at it huh hmmm fantastic, what a nice still crunchy, this lime juice and the soy sauce and this vegetables will cut the sweetness so be liberal with honey add little extra it 'll make even more tasty this peanuts Wow in all this nice sauce the peanuts is the one which gives nice punch em haha you know when you eat the vegetables still have to be nice and crunchy and with every bite your mouth will be filled with the juices which are so nice with all the flavors, hot, sweet .
